Stainless steel welder — Knox County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Knox County, Nebraska. The role involves: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
