Vacancy available: we are hiring a café server in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The job is in a five-star hotel. On the job you will handle: • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Check back during the meal and handle special requests • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer £2,900 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
