Now hiring: we are hiring a stone mason in Fayette County, Ohio. You will work at a marble and granite workshop. On a typical shift you will lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys. Requirements: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
