Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Bedford County, Virginia. The role involves: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
