Cnc production machinist — Effingham County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Effingham County, Illinois. Day to day you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
