Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Colusa County, California. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. The role involves form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Rotating shifts.
