Lift installation engineer — Borough of Rochdale

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Borough of Rochdale, England. The job is on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Day to day you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
