Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Humphreys County, Tennessee. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
