Brick and block layer wanted in Hunt County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Hunt County, Texas. The job is on a new-build development. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks On a typical shift you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
