System formwork carpenter • Camden County, North Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Camden County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts You will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
