Safety inspector wanted in Modoc County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety inspector in Modoc County, California. The job is at a manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Meals and transport allowance provided.
