Refrigeration and AC mechanic — Amite County

Join our team: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Amite County, Mississippi. You will work at a supermarket cold-chain site. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Day-to-day duties: • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
