Aluminium tig welder — Dakota County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Dakota County, Minnesota. You will be based on an industrial construction site. On a typical shift you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
