Refrigeration and AC mechanic — Whatcom County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Whatcom County, Washington. The job is in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Your main tasks: • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge You should have: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
