Urgent requirement: metal caster (West Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Mineral County, West Virginia. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
