GMAW welder — Yadkin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Yadkin County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Performance bonus on top of base pay.
