Now hiring: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Douglas County, Minnesota. You will work on a high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
