Gas meter installer wanted in North Ayrshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in North Ayrshire, Scotland. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Part-time with flexible hours.
