Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Twin Falls County, Idaho. Day to day you will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
