Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety marshal in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. Your main tasks: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits.
