Health and safety supervisor — Jasper County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Jasper County, Missouri. You will work at a manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
