Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Grand County, Colorado. The job is on an export house sewing floor. The role involves change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
