Great opportunity: confectioner (Maryland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Montgomery County, Maryland. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. You will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; score the top of loaves before baking; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream. Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
