Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Page County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day-to-day duties: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Rotating shifts.
