Vacancy available: steel fixer (Benue State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Gboko, Benue State. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules On the job you will handle: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer ₦190,000 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
