We are recruiting: gas commissioning technician (Indiana)

Join our team: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Noble County, Indiana. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits.
