Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Grainger County, Tennessee. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
