Chiller technician • Vermilion County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a chiller technician in Vermilion County, Illinois. The job is at a food processing plant. Day to day you will pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge. You should have: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
