On a typical shift you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Rotating shifts.
