Stainless steel welder wanted in Coles County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Coles County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Six days a week, one day off.
