Lift installation engineer — Greensville County

Join our team: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Greensville County, Virginia. You will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Rotating shifts.
