Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Day to day you will apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
