Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Elbert County, Colorado. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
