Great opportunity: gas pipeline fitter (Idaho)

Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Madison County, Idaho. Day-to-day duties: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
