We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Pettis County, Missouri. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
