Trowel-trade bricklayer • McCreary County, Kentucky

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in McCreary County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
