Finishing plasterer • Hinds County, Mississippi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Hinds County, Mississippi. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. The role involves: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming You should have: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • CSCS card or willing to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
