Now hiring: tig welder (Northern Ireland)

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in City of Belfast, Northern Ireland. You will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Full-time with occasional weekends.
