Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Richland County, Ohio. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
