On a typical shift you will replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights. You should have: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off.
