Immediate opening: gang bricklayer (Missouri)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Jackson County, Missouri. You will work on a busy housing site. The role involves installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. $120 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
