Sheet metal welder — Iron County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Iron County, Wisconsin. The job is on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Full-time with occasional weekends.
