Urgent requirement: we are hiring a container truck driver in Franklin Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a refrigerated transport fleet. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Your main tasks: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load 1+ years on the tools preferred.
