Immediate opening: site carpenter (Maryland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in Saint Mary's County, Maryland. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers You will check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
