Great opportunity: stainless steel welder (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Marquette County, Michigan. The role involves carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
