Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigger in Bon Homme County, South Dakota. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
