Machine operator (earthworks) — City of Franklin

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in City of Franklin, Virginia. You will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport. You should have: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control 2+ years on the tools preferred. $6,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
