Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Perkins County, Nebraska. The job is on an industrial construction site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
