Argon arc welder • Iredell County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Iredell County, North Carolina. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
