Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Calloway County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level The role involves assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
